Mount Notre Dame Softball head coach and Director of Softball Operations at Sports of All Sorts, Jackie Cornelius, and her staff will be conducting the Cougar Softball Skills Camp. Coach Cornelius played 4 yrs at Cleveland State, played and coached a European National Team, and played for the Michigan Ice Professional Team. The camp will be run by current and former College and Professional players and coaches, ensuring that each camper receives the highest quality instruction available in the Cincinnati area.

The camp will focus on all areas of Fastpitch. Offensive skills to be covered include hitting, bunting, slapping, base running. Defensive areas will focus on both infield and outfield skills. Special drills for catchers will also be available.

The Camp will be held at Koenig Park in Reading on June 22 and 23, 2009. Session One is for those girls entering grades 3-6 in the fall. Time is 9 am - 11:30 Session Two is for those girls entering grades 7-12 in the fall. Time is 1 pm - 3:30

I highly recommend Jackie Cornelius as an instructor. Our HS top hitters see her for hitting lessons and I've been nothing but impressed with how she has developed them.

This is a great local camp for all skill levels. The more experienced player will definitely benefit from Coach Cornelius's drills and approach to the game.

She is helped at the camp by other college and pro players and coaches, so that every camper receives the best quality instruction available.
She is also available for private and team lessons or clinics.
