School's almost out ... and that means it's almost time for the Third Annual MND Softball Summer Camp! The camp will be run by MND Softball Head Coach and Director of Softball at Sport of all Sorts, Jackie Cornelius-Bedel, and her staff.
Unlike so many other sports camps, there's no standing around at this camp! Girls will work in small groups and receive individualized instruction from current and former college and pro players, which ensures that each camper receives the best instruction available in the area. Players of all ability levels will benefit from the topics covered.
The camp will focus on all areas of Fastpitch. Offensive skills to be covered include hitting, bunting, slapping, base running. Defensive areas will focus on both infield and outfield skills. Special drills for pitchers and catchers will also be available.
The Camp will be held on June 21 and 22, 2010 at Koenig Park in Reading (Cincinnati). Session One is for those girls entering grades 3-6 in the fall. Time is 9 - 11:30 am Session Two is for those girls entering grades 7-12 in the fall. Time is 1 - 3:30 pm
Parents, siblings, and coaches are always welcome to come and watch during the camp. Coach Cornelius-Bedel and her staff will be available to answer any questions you might have.
This is a great opportunity to get some extra pointers and practice time in. Also we are offering team discounts if 8 or more players from your team attend the camp so pass the word! Email or call for more information.
