New Forums Software and New Community Move Date August 25, 26, 27

We are now done with all testing on the New Forum Software, we plan on moving to the New Forum/Community Software on August 25, 26, 27, the old Forum will still be Available during the imported of all the Threads and Post.

So what are we doing?

We currently run the forum on software called vbulletin 4.0 unfortunately vb forum software is unstable and we have all seen over the year how this can impact the forum. Were now changing everything over to a new software that is responsive layout and design. Responsive design just means that no matter what type of device you use to visit TheSoftballZone it will be easy to use and the layout will reflect the device your using. Another great feature is that we have spent a lot of time and effort to make it more like a Community then just a forum.

All Feature will not be working at first when we make the move, below is a short list of feature that will be available to are users.

Chat Room
Media Upload to the forum
Groups
Link Directory
New Thread Prefix
Resources - Upload Files, Flyers, Tournament Entry Forms.
Create your own Forum - You make your own Forum
Conversation - Same as Private Message but you can create group Conversations.
Media Gallery
Social Groups

and so much more. We have a Test site up and running its for testing only but you can test things out and see what you think. This test site will be taken down once we make the transfer. Just wanted to give everyone a chance to give it test drive. If you join the test site don't worry your data from the test site will be removed and everyone will keep there current user name, passwords and other information they have on this site.
