New kid in Hilliard Ohio looking for team

Hello my daughter is from Texas and she will be 13 years old ( 04 ) We are looking for a competitive softball team for the up and coming season.

Can anyone give me some names of different organizations please.

She played for Texas Blaze last year.

She is a big kid 5'8 of so. Pitches and plays if ( 3b 2b)

We want a coach that doesn't believe he has to sit his pitchers. We have Emma clocked at practice between 61-63 consistently. Game speeds are a little bit lower. 58-61. I know I know. RADAR DADS! All I will say to that is lets see!

I have an 03, also. It's difficult to find a good fit sometimes - and we aren't sure what we're doing next year, either.

I believe your question was kind of a who is "elite" around here. I'm not 100% sure, and I don't really want to start an argument, but I believe the following teams are considered elite:

Stingrays
Lasers
Vipers
Outlaws

I know Bo Jackson's big facility is starting a team - not sure if they will be "elite" or not, but they're out of Hilliard/Dublin.

My understanding with 14u is that things kind of pick up all around, so even the "b" teams are a lot better than in 12u (I'm sure someone will correct me on this, also!).

I know I probably left out a few but these were some of the best 04 teams in Ohio this summer.

There are quite a few competitive teams here so your daughter has a lot to look at. The Ohio Stingrays are at the top of the list. Tryouts are in Hilliard too.....August 12th and 13th.

The good thing about being located in central Ohio is you have a lot of options within a two hour radius of very competitive teams that look to play in some of the best events around the country.
I would check out any team you have an interest in by finding out where they played In 2017 and ask what are their goals for 2018.

Lots of good options in Ohio and Central Indiana at 14U...
