Sinclair Community College will host at least four indoor softball tournaments during the months of January and February. There is a possibility of one or two more being added. This will depend on how many teams we get for these events. The indoor tournaments will be held in the 38,000 square foot Sinclair Community College fieldhouse.

This event allows teams to play real softball! Nine on Nine! Each age group will use your age appropriate base and mound dimensions. All teams will play three games of six innings and/or one hour and twenty-five minute time limit. No inning will be started after one hour and fifteen minutes. Games will start Saturday at 2:30pm and the last game will be at 6:00pm on Sunday.

The tournament is open to the first eight teams in the each event. The cost of this event is $270 per team.

All of our 18U and 16U events will be college showcase events. We will be sending out schedules and rosters of the teams to college softball programs.

Payment must be in two weeks prior to the event. Your team will be notified via phone or email on confirmation of payment. Schedules will be sent to the Team Manager listed below.

To reserve a spot or for more information, please call Steve Dintaman at 937-512-3039 or email: Stephen.Dintaman@Sinclair.edu

At least two-three teams in every event, good start for only being up for the weekend. My staff has been calling teams for all over and I have posted our information all over eteamz in different states.

On the weekend of January 10th-11th, we will also take 10U teams. As always, our tournaments are first come, first serve. If we get 6 10U teams before I get 4 12U or 14U, then we will make it a 10U weekend. This only is for weekends were I have two different age groups. Our 16U and 18U always have filled up very quickly so I never double ages. Since we do just play three games, all you need is four from any age group.

THANKS TIM.
Great competition this weekend! Man what a H.S team Fairborn has. If they don't steam roll everyone in the GWOC this spring something is wrong. All you guys do is hit and hit some more Tim. WOW

Great Job Fairborn ladies !!! :yahoo:

Steam rolling everyone in the GWOC will b a tall order but from what I understand Fairborn does have a nice group coming up. I think that they had a few incoming freshman, a couple 8th graders and 4 high schoolers on the team there this weekend. Nice job to all on a job well done.

Steam rolling may be a tall order but that young Fairborn team is very tough. Great pitching, and the hitting is awesome. They should do pretty good this season in the GWOC in my opinion.

Close Choosen one, ........we had one eighth grader, 5 returning Varsity and 3 young ladies trying to make it to the Varsity team, Grade wise, we are pretty young, we had 2 seniors, one junior, the rest a mix of underclassman. Steam roll is a bit strong, as usual Rob is being a gentleman because he thumped us twice yesterday ,,,,,,,lol

I'm still out of town but off the top of my head:

In the 18U
Lady Irish 18 Green
Pittsburgh Power

16U
Indy Express
Ohio Stingrays

I'm sure when I get back on the 2nd there will be more. We will be adding another HS event in Feb and maybe a 14U event. I am finally receiving emails from 14U teams.
