My DD went to it twice as a pitcher. The best thing about this camp is it offers an unbiased record of a pitcher's numbers. They measure spin rate on multiple pitches with a revfire as well as speed of every different type of pitch. These numbers are then posted to a website you can access for free for at least one year. So on all of my DD's emails to college coaches, she would list her roster number and a link to the website.
I know some girls complained about the accuracy of the times but that happens everywhere. For my DD, the numbers were the same as what her pitching coach recorded on the revfire and on a radar gun.
I can't speak to how the camp went for the position players.
The coaches in attendance were some of the same crowd you see at Stingrays with the locals more represented.
So for pitchers that can actually throw a 60 MPH fastball and throw a curve with spins in the mid 20's, it's well worth it. If you have a DD that throws 60, but for some reason only registers 52 MPH when clocked with radar, you might want to avoid it.
