Nichols Homers in NCCU’s Loss at UNC

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Sophomore Takia Nichols hit her first home run of the season to provide the visiting North Carolina Central University softball team with an initial lead on host University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, but the Tar Heels offense that has the top ranked batting average in the nation scored in each of the first four innings to pull away to the 21-1 win on Tuesday evening.
