NKU - GLVC Post Season Tournament!!!!!!

NKU is two wins away from becomming the 2009 GLVC Tournament Champions! The Norse played two very exciting games yesterday, beating #3 Indianapolis 5-4 and #2 Quincy 4-3. The Norse play Lewis today at 4:00pm. You can listen to it live here:

Folks, this feat was accomplished even though they lost their #3 hitter five games into the season, the #4 hitter after 14 games, and their leadoff hitter missing the last 13 games of the season. The Lady Norse really stepped up and played with grit and determination. I know they will continue their high level of play into the NCAA regionals. YOU GO GIRLS:yahoo::yahoo:

Their pitching was much improved this season over last season. April and Chelsie have really developed nicely, and they really complement each other as they are very different pitchers. I've gotta support my alma mater, so... GO NORSE!!!

Agreed. They also increased their team batting average 25 points and their team slugging% 46 points over 2008.
