High School coaches:
We are now taking nominations for the Ohio team for the 3rd annual Ohio-West Virginia All-Star Game at the University of Rio Grande in June. Nominations must come from a player's high school coach and the players must be 2008 grads. The three-game series will take place on Wednesday, June 11.
Ohio won all three games in each of the first two years. Last year's squad featured players who are now playing at various Division I schools around Ohio and beyond, as well as Division II, NAIA and Division III schools.
The Ohio team is chosen by Joe Abraham (Thomas Worthington), Angelo Forte (Hilliard Davidson) and Charles Tackett (Tipp City Tippecanoe), who are also the coaches.
We have had good representation from central, SW and western Ohio the first two years and a decent amount from NE Ohio. We would love to see more nominations from NW Ohio.
