I would also like to say that the 16U Miami Valley Express has one of the classiest organizations I have seen or heard of. I really don't know how many teams would have showed the class that your squad did in that situation. To the coaches and parents: that is one of the finest examples of teaching impressionable minds that I have ever witnessed. I wish the best for this fine organization from top to bottom.

I didn't attend but got some reports from other coaches. I heard compliments about the 16U Miami Valley Express. They sound very classy!

Congratulations Vikings Elite ! Every team down here had to adjust to the tough 50 min. schedule ,your girls did it the best. Semis and Finals went to 1hr. ten min, finals no time limit ,you beat some very good teams Lasers Aqua and Heat Toledo .I dont know how your girls do it ,but week in and week out your there on Sunday at the end of the day when I know most people dont believe you should be .Again ,Great job !!!!!!!! STATE CHAMPIONS!!!!!

What 16U teams are going to be at the Stingray tournament? I heard (w/o rain) this will be more challenging and competitive than the tournament in Tealtown.

Congrats to the Viking Elite and Buckeye Heat-Toledo. I know many are complaining about the way the tourney was ran, but lets not lose sight to the fact that those 2 teams played under the same rules as everybody else and came out on top. Congrats to both teams.

Thanks for your comments Coach Tom

I am soooo very proud of my girls-- they played well, stayed focused, GOT DIRTY (There's no swimmers over here) ;D, and played 100% when they did get a chance to play!

Heard what happened with MVX-- WOW very impressive and not only shows class, but respect for the game, your opponents and sportsmanship! It was a tough weekend for everyone. NSA did the best they could do with the circumstances of the situation. Let's not forget about the officials too-- they stayed focused on their jobs, and made the best of a bad situation too. I, for one, want the umps to knnow their efforts did not go unappreciated or unnoticed-- thanks.

on another note- Tealtown did make one improvement over last year-- we didn't have teenagers on four wheelers running you over all weekend LOL ;D

with all the complaints with this nsa state tourny, and how they are decided to pick a winner in it with only 50 min time limits, what was up with deciding a game on the use of a video camera????? Did they actually use this technique to pick a winner??? just wondering if this will be something used in the future for fastpitch (like instant replay in football) umps beware

nsa and all other organizations will not look at film and did not do so here a father was taping his daughters game. there was an accidental mistake in a scorebook. when it was brought to that teams attention by showing the end of an inning without a runner on third they saw their mistake and were gracious enough to tell nsa they had made a mistake. thats how it happened they did that on there own and should be complimented. please lets not ruin such a good moment by taking this somewhere else. let it go
