It was tied 1-1, but the mmm girls had eaten more brownies and took less
bathroom breaks than the Lasers, so the NSA recognized them as state champions!!!

Very disgruntled over this tournament.....two baseball and two softball tourneys in the area are going on without
blemish and as much rain....and they are not state tourneys...better prep and ducks in a row.
Not representative of southwest Ohio softball.

In a State Tournament, you eliminated too many good teams with time limits and no ITB.
In my book, ties with criteria of baserunners are for pool play, not elimination!!!

I feel sorry for the young ladies and their parents.The ladies came to play fastpitch softball instead of garbage ball and their parents spent hundreds to watch them,feed them ,house them and pay five bucks to watch a two inning game BECAUSE the TD had no plan, no workers and the wrong equipment to work fields! You don't use a ford tractor to drag an infield you might as well use a Buick. Gators with balloon tires were available but with one two man crew and 16 fields and you start at noon you end up with this mess and joke for a state tourney!

It sounds like Teal town did its usual job. Sorry to hear that NSA state tournament is unable to hold a fair tournament. Just wondering what would have happened if games went off like they should have. Congrats to Ohio Heat. Hope for better weather next weekend.

Ohio Lightning (Boyle) went 3-1 losing to Viking Elite 3-1 in Quarters

NSA in my opinion were handcuffed by lack of fields by Tealtown not having man power to work on them. When I left Sunday there were fields that had never been worked on. I hold Tealtown respondsible and after 4 trips there I promise I will not go back. If NSA has states there next year I will play nationals for another organization.

Congrats to The (YOUNG) 16U Ohio Pride and Coach Tig for becoming NSA Div B State Champs. There is not a harder working coach out there than Tig and I am proud to call her a friend. Great job ladies.

Typical Tealtown....From bases not being staked down in 2006 and delayed games by 1.5 hours while they found the pegs, Poor planning in 2007 when it rained and they had 50 minute games on 5 fewer diamonds (gee, they didn't learn a thing), 2008 another weather debacle....Coaches and organizations need to TELL NSA OHIO that they will no longer play NSA if they can't find a better site, more well prepared site...

Regarding this Tourney but on another note I would like to say one more thing. IN my 25 plus years of coaching i have never met a team that is coaches players and parents that EVER showed more class than what the Miami Valley Express did yesterday. Details are not important. What is, in this modern day of me me me , was the honesty and integrity this whole team and parents showed from top to bottom. Best wishes and continued success for doing things the right way.
