Class A & B Central State Tournament - June 19-21, 2015.
River Valley - Baseball For Youth Sports Complex - Marion 43302.

This is the Central State tournament for both A and B teams. This event will also feature the Ohio NSA Scholarship weekends. Click here for details on the Ohio NSA scholarship program.

Event is open to all Ohio teams in age groups 10u - 18u. Teams will be grouped into Class A & B in the 12,14, and 16u age brackets. NSA does reserve the right to combine divisions if the sign-ups are low for any one class. 10u and 18u will be grouped into A/B classes.

This is the first of 3 state tournament dates in Ohio for NSA with the others being June 26-28 for the North - Victory Sports Park - N.Ridgeville and July 3-5 North End Fields in Hamilton for the South. This way teams can still participate in the NSA state to attend the World Series.

Teams must be prepared to start on Friday, June 19 at 9 AM.

Entry fee is $450. Please also enclose $25 NSA 2014-15 sanction fee if not already sanctioned. We will accept $100 deposits if you need to hold spots. Balance is due May 19, 2015. If you need to sanction for 2015, please click here: NSA Team Sanction Page.

Is this team list updated? Only 4 teams in both 16u divisions??? Seems rather low attendance wise.

It is current. I am not sure what is going on in the 16u/18u age groups that weekend. We were trying to get away from the ASA states with our "A" if possible.

If someone knows of other events that date, please let me know.

I was just wondering if it will be cancelled for low turnout. There are 17 other tourneys that weekend and wanted to keep our options open if it gets cancelled. Hope not !!!

This is a major ASA/USA qualifier weekend. There are three events that I am aware of for 16U: Toledo, Wilmington, and North Ridgeville. Everybody wants to go to Chattanooga.

To the first poster, I do not plan to cancel. If we have to combine A & B together, we will do so.

To Dannyboy thanks for that info also. We are almost in a no win scenario with our state dates. Maybe we need to split age groups up by weekends by running the 10/12/14's "A"'s the 3rd weekend of June and the 16/18's "A"'s the 4th of July. I know last year in 14u on 4th of July weekend we pushed up against Orrville for the "A" caliber teams.
