NSA - 2nd Annual SW Ohio Shootout - May 29-31, 2015.
North End Fields - Hamilton 45011.
**Please note the Friday night start time of 5:30 PM**
* NEW DATE* This event was on June 21 last year.

Note that there are NO PARKING OR GATE FEES CHARGED! This is also an Ohio NSA Scholarship weekend. One player will be randomly selected to receive a $250 college scholarship. The funds will be sent to the NSA National Office to be held and the player does not have to play softball in college to receive the funds. NSA - 2015 WSQ event open to 10u/12u/14u. 5 game format - preferred format is 4 pool games into a single-elimination bracket, weather permitting. Entry fee is $400 plus $25 NSA 2014-15 sanction fee if not already sanctioned for the 2015 season. We will accept $100 deposits if you need to hold spots. Balance is due April 29, 2015. We are holding off on releasing them until tonight because a tournament canceled earlier this morning and 2-3 of those teams have contacted me about trying to get to our event. Event results will be posted to this page as well once the event is completed.

REMINDER: Coach/Manager MUST CHECK in Prior to your first GAME with Official NSA Online Roster and Insurance Certificate. Please bring a copy of Roster & Insurance FOR EVERY NSA EVENT THAT YOU PARTICIPATE IN, to leave with the Tournament Director. Event check-in will be at a station to the right of the concession stand. Bill Moore will be your Ohio NSA staff member on site. This is also where game updates will be posted.

ROSTER: PLEASE FILL OUT THE NSA ONLINE ROSTER IF YOU HAVE NOT ALREADY DONE SO.
All teams MUST have an Official NSA ONLINE roster, filled out, and printed with player and parents signatures. BRING A SIGNED COPY TO LEAVE AT TOURNAMENT SITE. THIS COPY of the SIGNED ONLINE ROSTER WILL NOT BE RETURNED TO YOU. Teams will not be allowed to participate without it.

INSURANCE: All teams must have "TEAM INSURANCE CERTIFICATE" with amounts of coverage. BRING A COPY TO LEAVE AT TOURNAMENT SITE. We cannot accept the individual player insurance cards. IF you have individual insurance cards, you will need to contact the insurance company to attain a certificate. THE COPY of the INSURANCE CERTIFICATE WILL NOT BE RETURNED TO YOU. Teams will not be allowed to participate with it.

BATS: Only NSA approved bats will be allowed. Check the National Web site for a complete and up to date listing of approved bat companies. www.playnsa.com Click on: Approved Equipment – Bats must also have the 2012 NSA silkscreen on them. Bats without that logo are not permitted to be used. Note: It is the coaches/players' responsibility to check their bat(s) to the list prior to bringing them into play. Penalty: Player is declared an OUT - PLAYER AND COACH are EJECTED FROM THE GAME.
It is the coach/managers responsibility to know the rules and bylaws of NSA. NO METAL CLEATS for 12u teams. Ignorance of a rule or bylaw does not negate the penalty. NSA rule book is available online 24/7 at www.playnsa.com. Weather update information during the event will be provided by the onsite tournament director. Call 614-895-2253 after 6 AM – Saturday, if inclement weather could be an issue to start the event.
