I heard from them that they are accepting registrations thru tonight, schedule comes out tomorrow.

I think this is where NSA really makes themself look incompetent.
This is a state tournament and as of today, we still don't have a schedule or even have any idea who is entered in (or did I miss something?).
Games start Friday is what I was told when I inquired on Sunday.

I was told by the tournament director that the schedule will be out Tuesday morning. I guess there's about 2 1/2 hours left!

It makes sense, that registration would go through last night, and therefore schedules might not be out till today ... I guess. Would feel a lot better to have some contact/interaction, info, and at least a list of teams (so far). Radio silence makes me "paranoid" ..... I like to PLAN!!! ;&

N$A why would you run your state tourney fourth of July weekend and GAPPS weekend?

Heard today that entries were "light" due to holiday weekend and other distractions like GAPSS. Hopefully, a good turn out for a competitive tournament. Kinda wish we played in the Spano now, to have an option for this weekend in case turnout is poor?!?

I am sure last years tournament had nothing to do with a low turn out!!!!!!!!!!

How many teams are normally in a state tournament per age group?

Last year there was around 120 teams in total...

Numbers might have been high last year since Nationals were in Columbus. Year before didn't have as many teams entered.

Our coach just told us our first game time but as of 13:57 on 6/30/09 nothing has been posted on the Ohio NSA Webpage.

5 teams in the 12-u sad

Only 5 teams in 12U? That is pretty sad. I don't get it. Now I'm worried about how many teams in 14U.

I think there were only 5 or 6 teams at 12U two years ago. I do know that championship was won with only 4 games played over 3 days.

Coachjeff -- know that Sapphires 14 are in. That at least makes two teams. lol

I concur with the 12u schedule. I was sent the same schedule today and it is disappointing. I know the competition will be strong with the teams there, but that is a very low turnout. Are all the 12u's going NSA B or ASA for Nationals?

As far as I know they were just e-mailed out. I haven't seen them anywhere else.

Anyone know where the fields are in Canfield? I didn't see an address in the packet or on the web.
