Playing NSA State and not getting updated by tourney directors. Anyone have any idea what is going on? Showed up for a game and park was empty. No one contacting me from tourney to tell me anything. Getting frustrated. Can't reach the director. Please Help!?

I wasn't there, but was told that the initial drawing (blind draw) had one team that had a bye into the semi-finals...which didn't seem fair. So they re-worked the brackets so that everyone had to play a more even number of games.

Some teams played at least 1 pool game, but all that was nullified and they went to a draw for brackets.

They actually won their first game by forfeit. Explosive Pink dropped out. They knew that at the time of the draw. We were there for the draw when they said Pink dropped. I just think it should have been handled during the draw. Not after everyone looked at the bracket and left.

It wasn't just a bye. It was a bye to play the team who dropped mid week! Basically two byes. LOL

Wouldn't have been a big deal except all the 14A coaches had to wait for every other age group to be drawn before it could b fixed.

Not exactly. They didn't waste our time or money trying to collect gate fees yesterday. We got rained out pure and simple and everyone had to deal. NSA even treated all the coaches to food and drinks at the drawing. Hopefully we can play it out today.

ahhhh tealtown. The weekend all us old timers will never ever forget. I know things are different know and they are headed in ( hopefully) a new direction but that weekend nearly destroyed NSA in Ohio.
