First of all, a big THANK YOU to Johnnies for the rain today. The fields actually puddled! A little more and they will be awesome!
If you didn't send in an entry to the Home Run Derby you can do so Friday afternoon or fax it to 513-536-3100. The prizes are great and the cost is free. There is also the Best Team Mom contest and entries have to be submitted by noon Saturday.
DJ music and pin trading Friday night at 8:00.

16-U Schedule :? We have a room for Thurs. night and will need to cancel it by Wed. night if we don't have an early game on Fri.. And does anyone know what time games start on Fri.?

Icedad19- looks like the earliest games on Friday are @ 3:00. We play @ 4:30 so I am cancelling our Thursday night rooms tomorrow. I just hope that it is not too late . That is all I know about the schedule so far. The e-mail that we received was very evasive and did not make sense. Also was told that the complete schedule would be posted on tealtown's website today but as of yet it is not there.

I received the brackets (with times in winner bracket only) from Lisa. There seems to be a team missing in the 12U when compared to the final list. Did the Sapphires drop out?
Also, looking at the brackets provided I am puzzled on how this will be a 3 game bracket. What I received appears to be a two game bracket.

They were e-mailed to the address provided on the entry form. Only one was returned and it was re-sent. It will be on the web later tonight.
Teams can still sign up for the Home Run Derby on Friday. We have a great new food options this year..pulled pork sandwiches, curly fries, chicken tenders and all sorts of things beyond the typical hot dog. We will even have FRUIT. We always wanted to have it but was concerned with the reception and it's hard to stock perishable items so we will have large apples iced down for the ladies. Hope it works and if it does, we can expand on it next year.
The lower 6 fields will be open for plenty of warm up space and Field 5 and the surrounding area will also be open for teams playing in the back of the park.
PLEASE remember, no outside food or beverages and coolers can only contain water. I know, I know because we do it too but Gatorade is only $1.50. Prices are low and quality is good so please honor our policy so we can all have a good time. We are really working hard to make this a great experience for everyone and....the safety bases will be staked down although I have to admit after losing two players to ankle injuries sliding into fixed bases I have mixed feelings.
We've had some really great entries for the Best Team Mom so keep them coming.

Somone suggested that I go to the Tealtown web sight and they would have the brackets for this weekends NSA States. I went there and could not find them. I also went to the NSa State web page and they are not listed there. Does someone have a link to were I can find the 14U brackets and times?

The pride does play at 3:00 against the Cincy Storm Gold on field #8.
There was a last minute drop and Miamisburg Sting was on the "waiting" list. They entered when there was an opening after the brackets were made so they were just filled in. Last night they sent an e-mail they may not make it. We will confirm today and let the Stingrays know.

And what happens if you lose your first "number" and your first "letter"? Of course no-one is planning on that, but someone is going to and it is a 3 game gaurantee. Just trying to figure it all out also...
