Thanks sbguru, we enjoy watching and cheering just as much for the Spirit 14u Black team as our own.
We are extremely proud of these Rampage ladies, an exceptional weekend, 7-0, 6 shutouts, 3 runs allowed for the weekend, 0 runs on a 3 game elimination days, 4 out of the park homeruns.

Hats off to Zach for a great run tournament, super complex with a busy field crew.

Thanks to all the 12u teams, especially Freedom and Power for pushing my girls to the challange!

Amazing inning by the spirit including a grand slam home run backto back homers and nearly 2 rotations through the batting order. The spirit organization as a whole made a STATEMENT ABOUT SOFTBALL IN PENNSYLVANIA.

Congratulations to all the teams that won their age brackets, but this is OHIO Fastpitch Connection! Let's talk about OHIO tournaments, or those "other" states when OHIO teams are playing.

I for one am interested in the PA tourneys. We play a lot of these teams through out the season and it's good to know who the tough teams and how they stack up against the competition.

Buck I

Sounds like columbus area?? I also play people from the PA area. I also grew up in PA!! I live alot closer to PA then to Columbus so if you don't like these posts then don't read them. There is plenty of other stuff for you to read and put useless posts on.
Good DAY.

Western Pa teams play as much in Ohio as they do In Pa!! I, for one, remember when the Power, Spirit and a couple other Pitts based teams first started coming to our tourney. They could not have been nicer people and teams. hearing how they all do is a nice addition to this message board...IMHO

You guys gotta realize that this spirit team is unbeaten in 2 years against ohio teams so that tends to lead to some betterness.Let him vent a little i understand.

Good point about the interest in the PA teams for those folks that may be playing them.

Guru, I have no "betterness", or bitterness, toward the kids of any team, it's great to see them all do well. I just remember your antics last year and didn't want to see a repeat.

As far as that Spirit team. They are a great group of kids and a pleasure to play against. As far as not beating them, from what I understand of their record, not many teams have.

The Spirit Black (13) team typically plays half their games in Ohio due to the high caliber of play of the teams there. We've played in Michigan, New York, West Virginia and Pennsylvania and find that Ohio fields more strong teams than the other states (there are great teams in all states, just not the depth). Sorry, don't have the funds to travel to CA, FL, TX, .... (wanted to beat the wiseguys to that one).

I agree, you better PA teams, if you look at their schedules included more Ohio Tournaments than PA tournaments.
When my daughters started in this game 8 years ago, I took them to Ohio to tryout NOT Pa teams, because of the competition and coaches.

Now my oldest is playing college ball, left with the little one. I have taken all the knowledge of my own days, past coaches of my other two daughters (good and bad) and have tried to make a difference in my local area to help PA compete with Ohio.

Of my 13 Tournament season, we have 4 PA tournament (one being WPA States, two winter tournaments, the other we are hosting), 1 WV, 1 NY, and 7 OH tournaments. And this is our first year out as a 12u team.

I want my girls challenged, and they are better because I come to YOU! (and appreciate it)

I sure check out you states championship tournaments for competition AND the friends I have gotten to know in the Buckeye State!

Guru,

Insulted the teams from "OA"? Have we added another state that nobody has heard of but you? (state of Obnoxious and Arrogant). I never said anything about the teams from any other state, just wanted to hear more about the great state of Ohio.

As far as insulting you, that was not my intention. I just wanted to see if you had grown up any in the last 12 months ... guess we know the answer to that.

As far as your challenge, I'm sure you spend plenty of time at the slow pitch cages and I doubt any of us could come close to your level of skill.
