Once again...an awful lot of bluster in this thread with very little information that contributes in any way to sharing experiences.
I've stated my case (whether others agree or not) that you should play hard, compete well, and play like every game matters, WHILE you showcase skills.
My opinion is shared by many college coaches who I have spoken with over the years (who may or may not necessarily care about game scores between 2 travel teams) but do care about finding players that play with passion and purpose and play like it matters when they are in the game.
If a team does that, then win or lose, I'd like to hear about their experiences: (who the opponents were, who competed well, what were the game outcomes, what were the outstanding plays, the dingers over the fence, the dominant pitchers, the college coaches in attendance, etc.) in other words, how about sharing the experiences? What was the team's return on investment? The Wins and Losses are all part of the equation but not the complete equation and let's face it there should be some value in either outcome.
Aside from a "good luck" message and a mention of the 2 Ohio teams by the OP, nothing else that follows is really telling me anything about these 2 events. That is a real shame if teams and orgs are unwilling to share their experiences from what are supposed to be 2 worthwhile trips out of state.
