OFC Heat Tryouts


OFC Heat & Blast will have tryouts at 3 locations, starting on August 11[SUP]th[/SUP]. Full information and directions can be found on our website at www.ofcheat.org. You can also pre-register for tryouts on our website. Any weather changes will be posted on our website. Please note, the fields at Grace Baptist are on Church property and no one is allowed to enter until 2pm. Tryouts will start at 2:30pm. Players will warm up at start of tryout and do not need to warm in advance.

Hey Scott,

Good luck at the 12U ASA/USA A Nats in Chattanooga! Wish we could be there with you guys (NOT playing against you...lol). We qualified to go there but elected to go to 12U ASA A Northerns instead since the dates do not conflict w the 10U ASA/USA A in Bowling green that my younger daughters team is in. We really enjoyed playing you guys this past season but are very glad you have to move up...lol. Again, best of luck and ALWAYS a pleasure to play you guys!

OFC Heat Orange 14U will return from ASA 12U Nationals and have a open workout for interested players on August 7th at 6:00. This will be at Lebanon Varsity Softball field on the corner of Miller Road and St Rt 48. Anyone interested in joining a competitive Team, please feel free to come try us out.

OFC Heat Orange 14U coming off a very nice trip to the ASA/USA Nationals will be starting with a workout on Wednesday August 7[SUP]th[/SUP] 6pm at Lebanon Varsity Field on Miller Road. Then we will participate in club tryouts until we complete our roster. The coaches will be looking at both “00 and ’99 birthdays. Now that 14U and 16U have totally the same rules, the Team may stay at 14U for only one year. This Team plans on playing the best competition as they did this year, to help prepare our players for HS and beyond. Thanks for thinking of the Heat!

Hopefully it was for all of you and you were able to take something from the workout. Also we are looking for a pitcher in these tryouts. Thanks for thinking of the Heat!

The OFC Heat 12U team (primary 2nd yr 12U's) will be a new team this year and, because of this, we want to bring the girls who are trying out together for an additional workout/tryout next Monday evening (August 12th) from 6:30 to 8:30 at Grace Baptist Church. We have had a great response to tryouts and all positions are open! Setting up a separate workout will give us some extra time to evaluate the girls and give the girls who are on the team the chance to begin practicing together as we build through the tryouts. We hope that you can make next Sunday afternoon’s tryout and then again on Monday evening. If you planned to attend a later tryout, we really hope you could make the Monday workout.

OFC Heat Orange 14U would like to thank all the young ladies, that came out to our workout last Wed and Tryouts yesterday. I'm happy to say we have started to fill a real nice Team again. We are down to just a couple spots and one like a lot of Teams is a pitcher. We are in need of a pitcher, that wants to take the mound and work hard for her team. Like I said earlier, this Team will only be at 14U for 1 year, so '99 or '00 players are very welcome. The other player needed is just a quality player, no particular position, as we have very versatile players. If you can make the schedule tryouts great! If not and you need a private workout. Please just let me know and we will get it done. Thanks for thinking of the Heat!
