Ohio Bandits will be moving up to 16U this year. MIKE ZIFER, last year's head coach will be helping out with the 16u team this year. He has extensive knowledge of hitting and fielding drills that will help prepare your daughter for the next level! This year KYLIE ZIFER will be taking over as head coach during the summer tournaments and the assistants will be GRACE JACKSON, KATIE COZY & MIKE ZIFER. Kylie and Katie are 2015 graduates from Louisville High School, while Grace is a 2016 graduate from Louisville. The coaches have played at a combination of premiere organizations: Grand Slam, Ohio Ice, Outlaws Premiere, Ohio Bandits and Lasers Red. All 3 have continued their softball collegiately. Kylie is at Muskingum, Katie is at Toledo and Grace is at University of Northwestern of Ohio. The coaches understand how to be a great high school player and how to become a college starter, with a combined 100 home runs in their career, they know what it takes to be a power hitter.
We will play a very competitive schedule, 2 fall tournaments, which will include at least 1 college showcase tournament, practices and fielding and hitting clinics in the fall and winter, Kent State Midwest Colleges Camp in January & 7-8 summer showcase tournaments.
We are looking for girls that are ready to take their game to the next level, want to play deep on Sunday, work extremely hard, have a great attitude and are great teammates.
Our main goals for the girls is to prepare them for their varsity softball season and to get every player recruited by a college.
