OHIO EMERALDS 08-SIROHMAN IS PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THEY HAVE A GROUP OF PLAYERS JOINING OHIO COBRAS 08-GRANCHI FOR THE 2022/2023 SEASON.
We will start off with a dedicated core of 8 players.
We are looking to complete the roster with 3 committed softball players to compete at a high level for next season.
The team will be led by Head Coach Dave Granchi, Assistant Coach Matt Proud, and General Manager Michael Sirohman. In addition to player development, the coaching staff will also assist players in the college recruiting process.
Our fall schedule will include Best of the Midwest (Marion, Ohio), PGF KENTUCKY CHROME INVITATIONAL, as well as 2 Ohio tournaments.
We will play in 2 winter tournaments, and a summer schedule to include; Firefighters Memorial, Outlaws Summer Invitational or Lasers, Sheer Madness, Fire in the Sky, Stingrays or Aunt Rosies, Great Lakes Showcase Premier or similar and an out of state Nationals or PGF event.
We will have an indoor facility for winter training and run outdoor practices in the fall and spring/summer at two separate locations (Stark and Lake County) to accommodate players from different areas.
In addition, for the 2027 graduation years on the roster, we already have plans in place for a top tier team for tournaments in April/May.
