Attention 14U infield or outfield players!!!!
An opportunity has just come about as a result of a player recently realizing that she cannot continue with the commitment to a travel softball team this year. Ohio Glory has 9 very good players and we are looking for a 10th player to add to the roster. We want a player that can make the team better and be able to compete for a position. The coaching staff displays the utmost in sportsmanship and respect for our players, coaches, umpires and opposing players and we require that of all players on the team as well. These qualities are absolute requirements.
This team had a VERY successful year at 13U and is planning on playing in many of the most competitive tournaments around, including many showcase-level events. We expect that level of success to continue, and more importantly, we intend on providing the opportunity for our players to compete against the best teams around and to be seen by as many college coaches as possible. Our tourney plans will include many of the following (list not complete and some changes are possible):

Ice Chiller
PGF Top 100 (Indiana, Oct, 2015)
Ohio Glory Spookout
WINTER 2016:
Spano Dome
SPRING/SUMMER 2016:
Firefighter's Memorial
Laser Nation
ASA A State
Fire in the Sky-Orrville
Stingrays Showcase
GAPSS
(others TBD)
National Tourney (probably one of the ASA Nationals)
Ohio Glory '01 is a Central Ohio-based team with players from all over Ohio or neighboring states. Many of our players also play in school sports and we support that. We practice every Sunday and will be utilizing Field of Dreams in Lancaster as our indoor facility during the winter, or when inclement weather exists. Our coaching staff is very experienced and is as dedicated and committed to the development and success of team as you will find. We have many years of high level travel ball coaching experience between us all. We feel it is VERY important to let you know right now that we do not subscribe to any "Daddy Ball" coaching philosophies! We understand that the "daddy ball" style of coaching not only hinders your own players from excelling, but it also prevents you from being able to recruit great players. Our players want to play for us, and are all very accomplished players themselves. We are now seeking another player who shares their same level of ability, love for the game and commitment to the team. We are looking for a player who has the dream to play this game at the next level and the desire to do what it takes to get there! We currently already have excellent pitching and catching, so we are really looking for an excellent infielder or outfielder with a solid bat, or a speedy lefty slapper.
