Our main tryouts will be August 13th 11:00am, we will take late registration due to conflicting tryouts and stay upwards of 5:00pm. I will also have mini tryouts Aug 9th and 11th from 6-8. Tryouts will be held at Jonathan Alder High School softball field 9200 US-42, Plain City, OH 43064. We run a showcase schedule every week and expect players to work on there craft even outside of our scheduled practices.
We are looking for additional pitching, catchers, outfielders with speed that can cover ground and a middle infielder. Lefty slappers welcome! We will tryout ANY strong player interested in making the team.
Players will take hitting lessons on a regular basis from either Coach Hutchinson, Coach Lenos, OR an approved outside hitting instructor. Pitchers will work on a regular basis with an approved pitching coach. Players will be required to participate in speed, strength and agility programs during the off-season. Players will engage in regular contact with schools for their recruiting advancement and attend camps all fall and winter. Players will schedule and attend recruiting camps over the winter camp season.
