The Ohio Hawks will be fielding a 12U team based out of North Central Ohio. Tim Seamon and AJ Young will be coaching the team, AJ will be a non-parent head coach, whose daughter, Madison, a player on our 18u Gold team will be heading to play for DII Blackhills State in the fall.

The plan for the team is to follow the blueprint prior Hawks Gold teams have established that has resulted in over 70 players committed or having played college softball in the past 4 years. Over 20 Ohio Hawks have played or are committed to Division I programs since 2014.

The requirements will be steady and consistent practice, along with individual hitting and pitching lessons in the off season. We would like to draw players from north of Columbus, over to Toledo and towards Cleveland.

The Hawks Gold teams compete in the best showcase tournaments in the mid-west - we are established participants in the Super Pools at the Diamond 9 in Orlando, Scenic City in Chattanooga, Tn and others. We have strong college coach relationships that will be invaluable in getting your daughter recruited at the appropriate time.

This particular team will play in the Dayton Metro, ASA State, Scenic City, GAPSS among other tournaments next summer.

If you would like to know more - please email Coach Young or Coach Seamon at CoachYoung@OhioHawks.com or CoachSeamon@OhioHawks.com.

Check out or history at www.OhioHawks.com - there you will see the list of Hawks players that have college offers or playing in college.

Ohio Hawks Gold Young 04
I want to thank the Hawks organization for giving my team once completed the opportunity to have a mentor camp. My 12u team will head down to the Dayton area and get to practice and shadow the Hawks 18u Gold team . This will give the younger players the chance to bond and see first hand what is expected of them. The girls will have the chance to ask questions that they might have, work on weak points, and see how to improve so they can reach their goals . I'm very excited for this to happen! It will show these girls and parents what being a "Hawk" is all about . Coach Young
