Due to the significant interest in our team for next year, Ohio Hawks Gold 03 Dorn will host a tryout in the Columbus, OH area on Monday July 24th at Lou Berliner Park on field 19. Plan to arrive at 6:30pm for registration and warmups. Tryouts will be from 7:00pm to 8:30pm. We are currently planning a Toledo based tryout shortly afterwards.
Although our team is based out of NW Ohio, we are very accommodating to players traveling great distance to be part of this opportunity. With our packed playing schedule, the number of full team practices in the Toledo area will be less than ten (and will be in a dome). Each player will have a personal development plan that will be expected to follow to one their own.
We will be looking to add to our talented and driven core of returning players. We are looking for players that believe in teamwork, hard work, fundamentals, and leadership development.
If you are interested in playing in front of college coaches against the best competition in the country, please contact Mike Dorn (419-574-1750 or Michael.Dorn@ProMedica.org) or Matt Hoverman (216-926-7928 or matt.hoverman@gmail.com).
Private confidential tryouts can be arranged. Contact us if you have any questions about our schedule or vision for this team.
