Game Format will be OHSAA guidelines. 3 games Pool Play based on standings at the end of the season. Tournament will be played on Saturday May 9th as a one day. 1hr 45 minute time limit to ITB rule. Run Rule is 12 after 4innings and 10 after 5
Umpires will be furnished by RVBFY.

I need teams for the Sanctioned tournament to happen, I got a phone call from the Middle School in Marysville and they have interest for a 7th and 8th grade team to enter the tournament. Post on here or contact me ASAP if you wish to put a team in the tournament, as long as the kids come from the same school it's ok to combine teams to get the kids playing time.

Thanks MD! It was suggested I try to give other teams a place to play that are sanctioned, this would allow all travel players at the junior high level to call this their end of the season tournament and start travel ball immediately upon completion. If I dont get any team that's ok, I've got one of the two tournaments going at this time.
I do have Buffalo Wild Wings as a sponsor and just spoke with the Marion Mayhem (Indoor Professional football team) about sponsor consideration and will know on April 29th if they are in or not. Will be a good tournament, just trying to make it one of the best so everyone wants to do it again next year!:yahoo:

Great idea.

I would move this Tourney up a week and market to Middle School ADs for next year.

Thinking there are lots of teams / coaches that would love to attend this year, but their kids are already committed to Band, Theater, Travel by the second week in May.

The jr high league in the Findlay area has their league tournament the same weekend. It's a simple single elimination deal though.

That's good to know, I was asked to offer this to the Sanctioned teams here in Ohio that do not have a place to play. Next year I will see to it I get the information out a little sooner and try to get 20-30 Junior High teams to host a true Junior High tournament. I want to say thanks to all that considered playing, maybe next year. I'm closing the sanctioned portion of this tournament and will play the Club tournament on May 9th as a 3 game round robin for 13 teams. Come out to the complex and watch some games. www.rvbfy.org

Due to rain, I'm looking for 8 teams and 14U travel teams are welcome. I'm looking for a good SATURDAY of Softball!!! Complex is ready to go and the Marion Grant Red team welcomes all takers, Travel or Club. Need teams to sign up immediatley so I can order the plaques.
