We have eliminated the 18U age group. We are still taking teams in all other age divisions.

How are the fields holding up? In Akron it has been raining buckets......

It rained pretty good this morning around here (canfield area). But, it stopped and the sun is trying to pop out. The fields in boardman are usually pretty good in light rain, but McCune Park might be a different story. They are not the same kind of diamond dirt! LOL ;&

Ok....... I hopw they let us know asap..... I dont want to drive an 1.5hr to turn around and drive back home......

Yeah, no kidding. We are playing in Champion. I know the Chain crews will work all day and night to get the games in, but sometimes there is just nothing you can do.

We have decided to cancel the games for tonight. The coaches have been sent e-mails. The fields have drained well, but with the forecast for more rain, I feel it's best not to make the teams travel for games that we have a minimal chance of playing. We will rework the schedule and have it out to the coaches as soon as possible and post it on our web site. We should still be able to get the complete tournament played unless the weather forecast changes drastically.
