The Ohio Nightmare 16U is looking to fill a few roster spots for their upcoming season. Kids who aspire to play in college and want a team who will give them the best opportunity to do that.

Specifically we are looking for the following players

* Pitcher: Pitchers who have an eagerness to pitch in college. We train our pitchers to maximize their capabilities through increasing their strength and endurance. We don't leave it up to you to improve through weekly pitching lessons.

* Speed: College coaches love speed and if you have it, we are the team to showcase it. You can be as fast the fastest person on earth but it won't matter if college coaches never see you play.

* Athleticism: We train our kids at a very high level. No team in Ohio trains more than we do not and so our kids reach their peak potential with us. Far too often teams do not provide the instruction necessary to be successful in this sport. We pride ourselves in doing that.

The Ohio Nightmare has a history and reputation around the country as a team that trains their players at a college level and challenges their players by facing the best competition in the country. The 2015 Ohio Nightmare team finished 3[SUP]rd[/SUP] in the country in college placement.

Many people ask why is it necessary to travel to play teams from Alabama, Missouri, Florida etc when these kids will likely pick an Ohio School to play with. The reason is those teams from those states produce the elite college players for the top colleges in the country. A coach from Ohio knows that a kid from our team who has played college level softball for 3 summers is going to show up on campus ready to play.

Nightmare Alum Manda Cash who was the Atlantic 10 Player of the year as a freshman was able to take her Dayton team to Univ of Tennessee and compete with SEC talent because she spent many summer competing against the same girls with The Nightmare.

Schedules matter and our schedule is designed for the kid who wants to play at the next level. Make sure you ask for a schedule for next season and determine if the organization who wants you is serious about getting you an offer. It?s easy to type ?showcase team?, it?s a hard commitment to deliver it with a schedule that backs those words up.

We train hard and often. Our practices are challenging and designed to improve your athleticism and skill level. We do speed, agility and strength training at every practice. We work on batting at every practice as well as fielding and throwing.

Assistant Coach Mikayla Cooper is an former Ohio Nightmare player who is currently the starting short stop at Ohio University. Coach Cooper has won many awards at the collegiate level in her first three seasons with the Bobcats. Coop has played Short Stop, Catcher, Pitcher, First, Second and Third for OU. She is a true utility player who has the knowledge and experience your players can benefit from.

We back up our words with action!

If you are interested in being a part of our organization, please contact me ASAP.

Being a part of this Ohio Nightmare team has been such a rewarding experience for my daughter. Coach Sauter and Coach Cooper were so great with the girls, and I am so thankful she has the opportunity to be coached by them. These coaches will do everything in their power to make sure each girl has what it takes to compete against the best competition out there. If your daughter wants to play in college, I would highly recommend checking this team out!

We definitely recommend this Ohio Nightmare team. Our daughter loved the experience and the results she has seen. Playing against top talent, many of whom are committed to D1 schools, has proven very beneficial. The coaches are committed to doing what it takes to make our girls play to the best of their ability. Looking forward to next year. Come join us if you are ready to take it to the next level.
