Ohio Power Black is finishing up a great season. We are 70-23-6 and have won 5 Championships so far. This will be a 2nd year 14U team next season. Notable Weekends were winning the Toledo TuneUp and winning NSA A States. We took 5th at Laser Nation. More importantly ourgirls have learned a lot about softball and have had a great time this season.
We are located inRichfield (near Akron). We will play acompetitive schedule next season including Laser Nation, States, Orrville,Nationals as well as some other college showcases. We will also plan to play up to 16U a fewtimes. The team is managed by DavidStaats (Ohio Power Founder). The assistant coach is Sara Travagliante (former player for U of Louisville and Doctor of PT) as well as trained by Glenn McCoy, Sara Zilles (formerAkron Racer) as well as other notable instructors. The teams training consists of skill training as well as strength, speed and mental training.
Tryoutswill be held on Sunday, August 4th from 2-5PM at thePowerHouse. The PowerHouse is located at3680 Everett Rd. Richfield. An additonal tryout will be Monday, August 5th from 6-8PM at the PowerHouse. A preregistration form can be found at our website. www.eteamz.com/ohiopower1/
