The Ohio Sapphires are back! We’re returning to tournament ball once again and will beholding tryouts for an 2005-06 team on Saturday August 7th from 10am-noon, with pitchers and catchers staying afterwards. Please arrive early for paperwork and warmups.
Tryout location: Solon HS varsity field located next to Roxbury elementary school 6795 Solon Blvd. Solon, OH 44139. The rain date will be Sunday August 8th from 10am-noon.

The team will be coached by David Donaldson, who is coming out of retirement to coach again with previous coaching experience with Ohio Ice and Ohio Sapphires for over 12-yearscombined. Assistant Coaches, Heather Donaldson, Charlie Springer, and Harry Marko. Our past teams have played in high level tournaments and showcases such: Laser Nation, Gapps, D1 fast pitch events, Sheer Madness, Buckeye Recruitfest, and others. We intend to play in similar tournaments to allow for maximum player development, growth, and college exposure. This is a new team and all positions are open to dedicated and motivated young ladies who are willing to work hard. We will play 3-fall tournaments, includes a showcase and 7-summertournaments with several showcases. Also, training indoors during winter and possible HS league depending upon player availability.
