DUE TO POSITIVE RESPONSES FROM THE SOLON AREA WE WILL CONDUCT A TRYOUT ON FRIDAY AUGUST 3 AT SOLON COMMUNITY PARK.
LOCATION: SOLON COMMUNITY PARK, 6647 Som Center Rd, Solon, Ohio 44139; FIELD 5
TIME: 12:00pm-2:00pm (we can extend if requested in advance)

ADDITIONAL TRYOUT INFORMATION
Ohio SlamForce 18u will be holding a team tryout as part of the organizational tryouts on AUGUST 11 at 6:00 pm at Early Hill Park, 120 East Vine Street, Alliance, Ohio.
In addition we will conduct private tryouts starting August 1st by appointment.
If you live out of town, or can not make a tryout, we can conduct an evaluation if you have a skills video, player profile, and do a telephone interview. We have successfully done this in the past and are willing to use this method in certain circumstances.
2018/2019 TEAM PLAN
This years 18U team will be geared toward graduating seniors who want to be part of a talented team, playing a competitive schedule but without the extensive travel and associated costs. The objective is to provide graduating seniors the environment needed to continue to prepare to play at the college level while still allowing time to enjoy their senior year and summer. You don't have to be a senior or a college commit to play on this team, just talented and committed.
We will practice this fall, then play in 2 fall tournaments, 1 winter tournament and 5 summer tournaments. We will limit the summer tournament travel as we will play no more than 3 out of town (Columbus/Pittsburgh/Toledo or similar) tournaments. The local tournaments will be within driving distance of the Canton area.
Training with Chandler Rice (hitting) and Bob Hoiles (Fielding) will be available through the organization.
TEAM SUCCESS
The past 2 seasons at SlamForce 18U, the team graduated 14 players who went on to play at all levels of college. This summer, the team played in 3 Championship games out of 5 possible bracket play tournaments (Lasers Excluded due to weather), winning 1.
