Ohio Starz 02 is holding open tryouts August 5, 9-11 and August 6, 12-1:30 at Canal Park in Hebron, OH. Our 2017 highlights include: Champions- Loudonville 14u Tournament, Runner Up- Toledo Tune Up Class A, 3[SUP]rd-[/SUP]Summer Classic in Marion, OH, 4[SUP]th[/SUP] Hilliard Memorial. Qualified for ASA Class A Eastern Nationals, and USSSA World Series. We are looking to add to an ACE pitcher, catcher, SS and OF to our roster with young ladies having positive attitudes and who are great TEAM players. Versatility and the ability to play multiple positions is definitely a plus.
Players from the existing 14u roster are required to attend tryouts with other candidates so all positions are open. We are looking return a core group to build on our success from the 2017 season and play a competitive, college exposure tournament schedule in 2018.
