ATHENS, Ohio ? The Ohio softball team has announced seven youth fall softball camps in August, September and October. This year the Bobcats will hold two Elite Softball Skills Camps and four Little Bobcats camps and an Advanced Pitching Clinic.

Ohio Softball Advanced Pitching Clinic - Session 1 - High School ONLY
Date: Saturday, August 26th, 2017
Times: 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Prices: $115.00
Ages: 9th - 12th grade ONLY ** Please note this camp is designed for serious and experienced pitchers as advanced pitching skills will be addressed during the camp.

Ohio University Softball will be hosting a Lecture Session for any coaches, parents, or players on Saturday, August 26th, 2017 from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. The Lecture Series will feature videos, images, and live demonstrations of proper pitching mechanics, fundamentals, and drills. Ohio Softball Pitching Coaches and Staff will discuss different forms and motions to develop pitchers; and have room for questions and answers.

The session will be lead by Ohio University Pitching Coaches and Ohio University Pitching Staff.
Elite Skills Camp
Dates: Sept. 17
Oct. 1
Times: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Prices: $165.00
Ages: 7th - 12th grade ONLY
Camp will include hitting, defensive, and base running instruction. The hitting segment will focus on upper and lower body hitting technique, mental game instruction, and drill work (tees, front toss, live, etc.). Defensive instruction will be position specific instruction and drill work. All campers will select one defensive position during their online registration in which they would like to receive specific skill instruction (infield, outfield, pitching, or catching). All campers will have the opportunity to practice on the Ohio Softball Field and Ohio Softball hitting cages; and interact with the Ohio Softball coaches and student-athletes.
**PITCHERS: Please bring your own catcher for the defensive portion. (This can be a parent!)
Little Bobcats Summer Camp SeriesDates: Sept. 5, 12, 19, & 26
Times: 5:30-7:00 p.m.
Prices: $25.00 per session OR $85.00 for package (all four nights)
Ages: 6th grade and under ONLY
Ohio Softball will be hosting a Little Bobcats Softball Fall Camp Series every Tuesdays in September (September 5, 12, 19, 26) from 5:30-7:00 p.m. The camp will focus on basic softball fundamentals for fielding, hitting, and base running. All campers will have the opportunity to practice on the Ohio Softball Field and hitting cages; and interact with Ohio Softball Coaches and Players. There will be 4 sessions total, and campers can sign up for a package (all 4 sessions) or sign up for each date individually. Come join in on the fun!!
