ManitouDan I'm not sure who was "beatin up" on whom because we did not keep track of all of the scores. If anyone knows and they want to post them then go ahead but things looked pretty equal. Here are the teams that attended on saturday. My 14U team was unable to play on saturday but we did host a few teams on Sunday and they are listed below as well. It was good to see everyone and we look forward to seeing them again when the ground is dry and the air is warm.

ALSO, we just got our shipment of the brand new Rip-It defensive "game-face" type masks. We have both youth and adult sizes available for tomorrow. We were only able to get 50 masks in at a time from our Rip-It rep due to high demand and we have about 20 earmarked already. For those that are not playing tomorrow or next weekend (10U) and wants a mask, email us at ohiowave@woh.rr.com or PM me or Rich (OFC ID "Ohio Wave") and we'll get them shipped out to you.

Just wanted to say a quick thank you to all of the 12U teams that came to The Academy for a full day of scrimmages today. Everyone looked good and we were happy to host you.

Special shout out to the Westerville Warcats little catcher (not sure of her number). She did a very nice job and from what I understand she is only 10 years old. Keep up the hard work keep having fun.

Watch out for the OFC Blast 11U team. They have good team speed, can hit, and are well coached.

The MV Vipers are a typical Viper team. Fundamentally sound and hard to defeat.

I did not get to see much of the Warcats and the Lady Niners, but from what I heard they were very good.

We will be hosting two more that I know of in March. One 12U date and one 10U date. Mike Weaver (OHIOWAVE 12U) will be setting them up and he has the exact dates.

Then hopefully we will all be outside.

We would like to thank the Ohio Wave organization for yesterday’s scrimmage. This was our second year for the scrimmage and the girls had a blast. What could be better than a day of softball and lunch at Made-Rite!

Thanks again guys. You are really doing a great service for the softball community.
