Olentangy High School (D1 - Lewis Center, Ohio - Southern Delaware County) is looking to hire a new varsity softball coach. Applicants should submit their resume to AD - Jay Wolfe @ Jay_Wolfe@olentangy.k12.oh.us. The application process will likely remain open for the next several weeks and then interviews will start.
Why the Olentangy Softball coaching job has so much potential for the right coach:
1. Established community-select/travel softball program(s) - can easily be turned into a solid HS softball player producing machine with a little coordinated effort.
2. Facilities ? dedicated softball-only in school hitting facilities and a nice varsity and jv softball complex with constant updates being made annually
3. Fundraising/Booster Support ? Olentangy Softball Boosters annually raises more money for the Olentangy softball program than most college programs. Fundraising consists of the GAPSS tournament, Ohio State Football Concessions, Middle School Dance, Softball Clinics, Summer League, Softball Concessions.
4. Talent - Most players are dedicated to only softball, most all players play travel softball for teams like Heart of Ohio, Buckeye Heat, Ohio Hawks, Lasers, Ohio Glory, Turbos.
5. Me - I have 10 more years of daughters playing softball for Olentangy
