It's actually a Democrat-controlled Congress now. And if anyone is old enough to remember the last Democrat Pres. with Democrat Congress, you will know what a truly bad economy is. (Jimmy Carter) Not to mention NO National Security. It is far worse than what we have right now.

Some folks need to venture outside of Ohio's larger population centers where federal, state and county jobs don't make up the majority of the workforce. Then you'll get a more realistic view of how things are going.

Whoever we elect and party affiliation aside, I just hope they have the guts and integrity to perform their job in a manner that helps the entire population, not just a chosen few. But then, all those bribe... I mean "campaign contributors" have to be reimbursed - then we're full circle again!

Republicats or Democrans, hard to tell the Difference anymore, cant tell a player without a score card, the monkey in the middle was definalty the correct statement, all they are interestd in is re election and power, no matter the party affilaition. thats why its best to be a Libritarian... you get to have the money of a Republican and the love life of a Democrat

Ah.......you beat me to the punch! Very well put. I will chime in later and believe me I will not have the percentage of people on my side with my views (oh yeah, I voted for Bush both times)! ;D

It will wait due to I gotta get to bed since Im on that dreaded 3rd shift still.

Just a side note..............

Best Democratic President y`all had you decided to blow his head off in Dallas Texas in `64. Now that will be a good thread to start whom everyone thinks whom (or whom all) shot JFK, and no it wasnt Forest Gump!

Hey, I'm pretty much a Libertarian and I don't seem to be getting the money and women that Boulder's Dad is talking about? Do I have to officially register with the Party to get that stuff?

Not the current woman. She laughs hysterically every time she can't think of a good response to a question.

I'm writing in Ross Perot...I think this campaign is in need of comic relief.

On the other hand Hill and Obama are becoming quite amusing?

I'm STILL waiting for something to "trickle down"... But I have to admit I did hear that "big sucking sound" of jobs leaving the country. Anyone talk to a computer support person recently? In English?

:(

According to that McCain is the man. Ron Paul is out, and everyone else was a tie. Although most of the republican answers differed less.

Yeah I was (Catchers) Mitt and Paul. I found that interesting since I had thought it would be perhaps the exact opposite.

Interesting little tool, Uber. ?:)

Came out pretty much how I suspected: ?tie between Hillary and Obama.

I would not be opposed to a ticket with both on it, preferably with Hillary leading it. ?

Here is another candidate match site:

http://www.usatoday.com/news/politics/election2008/candidate-match-game.htm

Although this one has not eliminated candidates who've dropped out, it has more detailed response choices to Popular Issues questions and also allows you to rate the importance of each issue. ?For example, I gave Global Warming zero importance as I believe it is an invented issue which now enjoys a combination of cult status and hot market trend (although that's a pretty neat trick!).

BTW, did you hear that a group of Russian scientists say that Global Cooling is "the new pink?"
