MAKE NO MISTAKE: The Outlaws are different than almost every other program in the country. Founded in 2009 as a single 12U team, we grew from one simple principle:

"We compete at a National level as never seen in our region against the best programs in the country, while keeping the focus on helping every player that remains committed to our philosophy get recruited at the highest level possible."

We are successful at the National level and remain committed to player development; and we are the top program in our region when it comes to college recruiting. We are not critical of other models; it's just not our model.
This model works. We win. We get girls recruited. College coaches recruit our players at a amazing rate. In fact, we rank among an elite handful of the nation's top travel clubs by every metric. Something never seen from a organization from our area.

Announcing the newest 14u team in WV, the Outlaws Futures ’02 Lucas, sponsored by DeMarini will be based out of Huntington. Tryouts for the Fall ’16 / Summer ’17 season will be held on August 13, 2016 from 1:00-4:00 atMarshall University Huntington WV . Please show up at least 30 minutes prior for registration.

sponsored by Demarini based out of Charleston, WV will be holding tryouts for its Fall 2016 and Summer 2017 season. Tryouts will be held on July 30, 2016 from 10:00 - 12:00
and August 13, 2016 from 10:00 - 12:00 at Marshal University Softball field. Show up 30 minutes prior to both events for registration. The Outlaws Fastpitch organization is one of the Elite Fastpitch Organizations in the nation with the goal of giving girls the opportunity to play at the collegiate level and against top level competition in multiple invite only tournaments. The Ohio Outlaws '03 Futures will not be holding organizational tryouts for the 2017 season as our team is currently only looking for one catcher. We will fill this position though personal invitation and a private tryout. If you are a 14u catcher who is truly interested in competing for the Outlaws organization please contact head-coach Tom Schmeiser at 330-620-4915 to discuss. This team is currently composed of 4 Cincy players, 2 Indiana players, 3 Akron/Cleveland players and 1 Youngstown player. All 10 girls want to play competitively at the national level and go on to play Division 1 college softball. Practice schedules will include one 2-hour skills session to be held each week in both a Cincinnati and Akron location, as well as one to two 4-hour team practices to be held monthly in the Columbus area. Our fall schedule will consist of the Scenic City Fall Tournament in Chattanooga, The DeMarini Fall Brawl in Columbus and an additional tournament which has not yet been determined at this time. We will again play an aggressive winter and spring schedule similar to last year which is why a 2021 grad ('03 birth year) is preferred over a player who will be playing high school ball this year. This team is built to accommodate the player who is looking to develop into a national-level player and is prepared to play an appropriate schedule.

OFC #6 ranked 12u team in Ohio with 5-4 record vs. the top 5
2016 Stingrays Showcase, 2nd place finish going 7-1
