Over-sized Score books

I made one from MS Excel. It is tabloid size, 11x17, that I print out, 2-sided, at work (shhh). It looks a lot like Glovers, but modified so that I can track stats better.

Glover also now has different layouts to fit what you are looking for.

I used to use the Glover's, but changed to the UltimateScorebook. I like it for the same reason others above have pointed out.

We use UltimateScorebook. It is great. Bound with a real thick cardboard back, so it holds up real well.

I have the book with both teams on one page and I love it. Only problem I have seen with this one is that the pages fall out real easy & it is difficult to get in my bag because it is so much bigger than a normal book. I will never go back to the old style of one team on each page.

I use the big blue Glover and love it. Over 40 and my eyes aren't what they used to be.

I get them locally from Prime Time Sporting Goods in Cuyahoga Falls.

If you get the Glover, you need to get the binder with refillable sheets and the bag to carry it and all of your scorekeeping needs........

I have put my Excel document in a website file:
http://home.earthlink.net/~wvanalmsick/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/Scorebook-Tabloid-2010.xls

Feel free to download it and make modifications to suit your needs. Once MS Excel opens with the document, do a "Save File As" operation and save it to somewhere on your computer.

You must have a printer that is Tabloid size paper capable hooked-up to or networked with you computer and that printer must be selected as the default printer in order to see the spreadsheet as tabloid sized . If you do not have a tabloid-size capable printer with your computer, you will only see a portion of the spreadsheet on the size paper that your default printer driver has selected.

Go to the "Home" worksheet. Go to Page Set-up, Headers and Footers, and where it says "TEAM:", insert your team's name.

I designed the positions boxes to reflect up to 10 innings of play. As much as coaches move players around in a game, I thought that this would be an easier way to track field positions and at the same time track entries and re-entries.

Good luck. PM me or email me if you have any questions or problems with the file.
