8u In need of passionate coach. Please message me with any questions.
6 girls returning

10u Phil Dietrich
Coach Dietrich was our 8u Head Coach this past season. Although he didnt have a great deal of experience in travel softball we were truly impressed with his teams ability to get better every week. Dietrich applied his 4 years of experience as a wrestling coach to help his young team work and practice even harder. In the end it payed off and they were able to get some hardware with a runner up finish at the 2nd annual Lady Warrior Invitational. He is extremely passionate and were fortunate to have him on our staff.

12u Jim Park
Jim Park will be leading the 12U PC Sting Fastpitch softball team for the 2016 season. Jim has been a resident of Pickaway County for most of his life and involved in competitive sports both as a player and a coach. As a graduate of Teays Valley high school in 1992, he played varsity baseball and went on to compete at the collegiate level at Mount Vernon Nazarene University (1992-1996) while earning his bachelor's degree in Business Administration. As a junior and senior at Mount Vernon, he helped lead his team to national titles. After graduation, Jim kept active in club softball and was assistant coach for the Teays Valley Varsity baseball program in 2003. With 4 young daughters, Jim has become active in coaching youth sports in the community and has a passion for ensuring that proper fundamentals are taught and creating a positive learning environment for that to happen. He has coached in the Teays Valley youth softball league from t-ball through the 8U level, including multiple Allstar teams and in the Viking Elite softball league as a 10U coach. Jim's approach to coaching is that of a teacher and former-competitive player, therefore fostering positive attitudes toward the sport, teammates, coaches and umpires is of utmost importance to him. His goal is help these already competitive players improve physically and mentally to get to that next level, and have fun while doing so!

14u Brandon Tinney
2nd Year PC Sting Head Coach. Coach Tinney has also had coaching experience at the middle school level. Led his team to a 12-2 record and a league championship. He has many years of softball coaching experience and utilizes his skills to prepare his team to work and acheive the goals they set as a team.

Mission Statement & Purpose

The mission of PC Sting is to offer the sport of fast pitch softball to all girls’ Divisions 8u-18u. The emphasis of our coaches, parents, and players should be developing the fundamental skills of fast pitch softball, as well as teaching and demonstrating teamwork and good sportsmanship.

Fun, player development, and good sportsmanship are more important than winning. Success is not defined in terms of wins or loses. Success is measured by effort, improvement and good conduct.

The coaching staff will do their best to teach the skills to be a successful softball player. PC Sting and its associates will always act with the best interest of the athlete’s safety, health and well-being in mind.

Great news.*

PC Sting has added a fantastic addition to our coaching family.* Keelia Nestor a graduate from Teays Valley has joined Jim Park and the 12u team.* She was a top Ohio recruit from TV and went to Akron to play softball.* She was on the MAC All freshman Team.** She later transferred to The Ohio State University.* Nestor was the rookie of the year for the Buckeyes and was on the All Academic big Ten team.*** She batted 340 her senior year and led the team in stolen bases.
