I just thought I'd pass this story on to illustrate Marie's affect on her pitchers. Our dd started with an instructor who was just out of college, and did, we thought, a wonderful job getting our dd started in pitching. She worked with her for almost 4 months on a near weekly basis. The coach had a chance to get back into pitching herself after discovering she had college eligibility remaining.
So late last winter we had to find another pitching coach. Thanks to the folks here on OFC we were able to make contact with Marie, and she took over as our dd's pitching coach.
Our dd ran into her old coach last week at an open gym. Our dd said her old coach's eyes got as wide as saucers when she saw how well she was pitching now. Her old coach was amazed at how much she had improved.
Marie doesn't wave a magic wand over her students, but she communicates very well, and energizes her students into keeping with it, and working hard.
If you're looking for a coach, at any level, you must talk with Marie.
