Poland Pride 12U

Team Bio -- The Poland Pride organization is a community-based travel softball team that competes at a high level. The 12U squad will be comprised exclusively of eleven (2004) and twelve (2003) year-old girls from Poland, Ohio, yet does not hesitate to compete against the larger programs. Winter practices are held indoors weekly beginning in December at the Sluggers facility in Poland. There are additional sessions for pitchers and catchers. Spring practices are held two or three times a week. In addition, we have usually participated in a number of friendlies at the Youngstown State Watts Center. We anticipate a 2016 schedule similar to the one below plus some tournaments into the deeper water.

Tryout information: August 9 and 15. Times to be announced. We anticipate a maximum roster size of 11 girls.

Fees: $200 plus uniforms. Players will be exptected to engage in additional fundraising.

After the first weekend of tryouts, it looks like we could still use an additional catcher and an athlete to fill out our 11 player roster. We have a strong group returning and have just a couple holes to fill. If necessary, we are willing to go outside our traditional boundaries of Poland, OH for the right player.

The second regularly scheduled tryout date is Saturday, August 15 at 3:00 p.m. at the North Softball Complex at 310 Sheridan Road in Poland. A special session has been added for Wednesday, August 12 at 5:30 at the same location. If interested, contact David Wolfe at 330.518.3698.

In case some of your teams are interested in playing some friendlies in the fall;
Valley Extreme Girls Fast pitch will be having Fall Friendlies for 2016 playing age

3 upired games will be played on Sundays for only $75: 9/13, 9/20, 9/7, 10/11, 10/18, and 10/25
