Some Ohio teams off to fast starts:
I. This was posted on a Pony thread from the Pony section, by the Valley Extreme folks ... "Valley Extreme 12U Red played three games today. Good start for the Valley Extreme!!!!!!! Here are the scores."
1. Valley Extreme Red 3 Riviera Beach Spirit, Maryland 2
2. Valley Extreme Red 12 Hornets Black, Connecticut 0
3. Valley Extreme Red 2 New York Diamond Girls Black 0
II. Lasers Silver is also 3-0 ...
1. Lasers Silver 12 Connecticut Mirage 0
2. Lasers Silver 15 Lancaster Depew (NY) Heat 1
3. Lasers Silver 11 Merrimac Valley (MA) Twisters 0
* Notes: one hit given up in the 3 games. Coaches & families from the teams Silver has played (so far) have commented on how aggressively and fundamentally similar we play softball in Ohio, have said it is good for them competitively. They seem to be enjoying Ohio ("which is nice".
III. Other Ohio teams? Have only heard Slammers are doing well, no facts though. Good luck to all Ohio teams and families! Keep it in Ohio like the Slammers did last year! Oh, and make some friends
