Post your top 10 "National" finishes here!

On next week's radio show, I'd like to devote a segment to recognize all of those teams here from the Forum who had a top 10 finish in a national tournament. I don't care whether it was PGF, ASA, USSSA, NSA, WFC or all sanctioned, nor do I care if it was a regional vs. a national. I realize there are some such posts spread throughout the Forum here already, but I'm lazy and I don't want to go search for them all! And to be honest, it doesn't have to even be a Top 10, especially if it was something like PGF or ASA/USA nationals. We just want to recognize those teams and players who had an good season and a national finish. So please post them here by a week from now and they will be on next week's show. If you want to recognize any individual accomplishments, or provide any other info about the team (e.g., overall record, other tourney wins, etc.), feel free to also post that here or send me an e-mail at jffbaker3@gmail.com and include your position with the team (e.g., head/asst coach, official scorekeeper). I can't promise to mention everything sent me but I will sort through it and do my best.

World Fastpitch Connection Summer Nationals in Myrtle Beach
Championship - 8-0

ASA/USA Nationals In Normal, Illinois
Finished Tied for 9th Place - 3-3

For the Second Straight Year, our RF/CF Kaylyn Hopf has ended the season with a Batting Average above .500 (2014-.542, 2015-.504). She has led the team in batting average, stolen bases, OB%, runs, hits the past two seasons. She is phenomenal SPEED athlete and also plays on an elite soccer team.

Ohio Energy 13U attended back to back Nationals this year.

They placed 7th at USSSA 13U Northern Nationals at Maumee, Ohio

And they placed 5th at ASA 14U B Nationals at Canton, Ohio

Really looking forward to watching them play next year as an all 14 team.

OFC Heat 04 finished T-5th in ASA A Eastern regional

Wizards Elite 2000 won the ASA Eastern Nationals championship.

Wizards elite 03 won the USSSA 11U national championship.

Jackson Royals 04 placed 7th in the NSA Nationals in Indianapolis with a 6-2 record.

Jeff - The Freedom Elite 16u College Showcase team won the 1st ever USSSA Summer Showcase event in Gulf Shores, AL. The plan is for this to be an annual event and hopefully grow the college participation next year. This year we had ~12 coaches either there in person or online; a couple of our girls got invited to tour the University of Mobile. Our pitchers, Valerie Thompson and Jenny Wright, did a great job. Val earned 3 wins and 1 save while striking out 19 and walking only 2. Jen picked up the other 3 victories without allowing an unearned run. Madison Adams led the hitting attack going 8 for 13 and reached base on 12 of 16 plate appearances.

Ohio Glory '01 finished 4th at the USSSA World Series in Orlando (13U)

Ohio Hurricanes '04 finished tied for 9th at the North American All Sanction World Series in Columbus. (10u)

Roadrunners finished 3rd in the Class A 10 under Nationals in Tennessee Chattanooga.. Ended our season 54-21-4
