Which static team? They both should be good. Dougs Hawks should be good for a 13u and it sounds like the new lasers blue? should be pretty good as well. Cliffs 14u Outlaws looked nice too when we played them in Garrettsville

Ya Hawks Lenos team will be tough They were last year.

As far as Laser's Blue is that JP's team? If so I'm sure they will be tough.

Yeah that's JPs new team. Jason Saibene from Wolfpack is helping him out. He is an excellent instructor and kids all like him.

Jason's 14U Viper's team might be the top in the state along w/ the BH97. Static 98, Hawks Lenos, Doom '97, all the Laser's teams, Classics 97 & 98, Grand Slam, Wolfpack, Outlaws..... all are very strong teams. I would say this a group of teams that I know of which will be battling for top 10 rankings all season long. As always, there will be quite a few more that have great seasons & will get their due as the yr progresses.

Ohio Wave 97 might turn a few heads as well. A few nice additions were added to an already talented team. Should be a fun year of battles with this age group. The top ten might get shakin up all year long. Goodluck to all.

Sorry Paul - I forgot to include OW 97. This team got a few major additions & add that to an already very good team equals success.

BTW - I don't want to hear any heckling from the stands Paul. If I do, you can come coach & I'll sit in the stands :)

Do any of these teams have a chance to pull off what Lasers Gold was able to achieve last year?

Wow Jason - why you calling Paul out?? :) The only card game I know is Memory. To be fair to my girls, they play hard which should hopefully allow them to compete.

Hope to play you guys in the spring - heard good things about your team.... I agree with the list above .. we picked up a nice lefty pitcher, throws hard with nasty stuff, did not give up an earned run in 4 or 5 fall games - one game we charted she only missed her spot 4 out of 70 pitches...

Lasers Blue will be tough, Kavin has a solid, experienced team, Hawks CBUS/Buelow picked up Alissa from classics - they will be a tough game for anyone... agree with Kavin, 98/97 kids are a strong class - Dayton Metro should be fun - we may bump it to 24 14u teams to accomodate them all...

Laser's Blue- they play fast and will be a menace to any team that hesitates on defense. They have a mix of power and slappers too.

Got to play Classics 98 and Laser Grey this weekend. A fair warning to all the 97 teams, they will make you earn it. Those two will knock off alot of teams this year, and win a number of tournaments. Also have played Classics 97, Hawks-Buelow, and Vipers Silver. Those three will also be in the mix. Played Laser Orange in a game down at OU as well. They will be extremely good. Good luck to all over the winter. We'll all be different teams in 7 months.

Talked to a coach this wknd who saw lasers blue and he said they looked solid. Run ruling everybody and only giving up a couple.

We (Ohio Hawks 97 Hoff) played Classics 97 this past weekend, and that is definitely one solid team. They were very focused yet had fun, and they definitely capitalized on the one bad inning we had, scoring 4 of their 5 runs in that inning and holding us at bay the rest of the game. Great job Classics, and hope to see you again next summer!
