Bigtrain's son, Brett Lilley was drafted today by the St.Louis Cardinals. What has this to do with softball you may ask? It just proves Bigtrain knows how to make and develop any kind of ball player, baseball and softball! ?

Brett also during his senior year at Notre Dame broke the NCAA "hit by pitch" record. That young man must really love his Ben-Gay!

Congrats to Brett and the Lilley family!!
Great kid being rewarded for tons of hard work. ?Aside from getting hit by a lot of pitches, Brett was also named to the "ESPN The Magazine" Academic All-American First Team and is the first Irish baseball player to ever earn first team on multiple occasions (2007 & 2008).
Throw in a state championship for Megan and that makes for a heck of a week-end in the Bigtrain household !!
