After a week and a half off, Daytona Beach, we returned to the practice field tonight. After struggling a little for the first 20 pitches or so, she found a little groove, she hit 4 or 5 in a row that 4 or 5 bounced the fence, then she really got a hold of one and I actually thought she hit it good enough to clear the 208ft fence. It came up just short but it hit right in front of the fence, hitting the fence on a short one hopper. I just turned around and smiled, she was doing the same back to me. She's 4'8" 75lbs, not quite enough ass on her yet, can't wait for to grow even more. Not sure how much longer I can pitch to her, I'm giving it all I got safely, maybe 40 to 45 mph.
