At this point, with the relaxed rules instituted - no it's not a qualifier. It's an opportunity for coaches to see how their team will compete for the 2006 season. It's also an opportunity for coaches to see what needs to be worked on skill-wise during the winter months.

Cincychill,

It looks like this is the list of 16U so far:

Cincy Tribe
Yellowjackets
Louisville Lady Sluggers
Ohio Charisma
Cincy Chill
Monfort Heights

Does anyone know anything about the Ohio Charisma? I'm not familiar with this team.

Update - the Louisville Lady Slugger's 16U won't be able to come up. ?But the teams as listed above is correct as of this evening.

I will still take a couple of 12U teams if there are any out there interested in playing this weekend.

Schedules for this weekend have now been posted on the web site for the Queen City Fastpitch Classic!

Xavier University, for those of you who don't know now has a club team. They will be playing at RiverShore during the day as well. The exciting part of a club team is that typically when a college / university starts a club program - the varsity sport could be added in a couple of years! This is great news for the local players looking to go to XU! Hopefully the University of Cincinnati will follow suit in the near future!

See you all on Saturday!
