SHOWCASE YOUR SKILLS AND WORK WITH COLLEGE COACHES FROM OHIO & PA

QUEEN OF DIAMONDS SHOWCASE EVENT
AT KENT STATE ON JANUARY 6th & 7th


The QD Futures & QD Academy is looking for exceptional softball athletes in grades 4 through 11 to be a part of this exciting event.

BE COACHED BY COLLEGE COACHES AND FORMER COLLEGE ATHLETES

SATURDAY, JANUARY 6TH QUEEN OF DIAMONDS SHOWCASE

For athletes in grades 7th to 12th showcase their skills and work with college coaches from NCAA II, III, and NAIA
Coaches from the GLIAC, PSAC, OAC and more will be working Saturday night.
College coaches are invited to scout talent.


Athletes will be able to showcase their skills
· Live hitting and pitching in batting cage
· Front toss games to show both defensive and offensive skill sets
· Instruction on how to improve your measured bat speed, throwing speed, and baserunning speed.
· Education about the recruiting process

SUNDAY, JANUARY 7TH QUEEN OF DIAMONDS FUTURES SHOWCASE CAMP
For athletes in grades 7 and 8
Coaches from NCAA I, II, III, and NAIA will be giving instruction.

Athletes will receive:
· Instruction and feedback from Division I, II, III, and NAIA college coaches on softball skills
· Front toss game situations to work on both defensive and offensive skill sets
· Live pitching and hitting
· Mental training techniques to help improve performance

SUNDAY, JANUARY 7TH QUEEN OF DIAMONDS FUTURES ACADEMY
INSTRUCTION BY COLLEGE COACHES

· For athletes in grade 4th, 5th, and 6th and parents and youth coaches to learn softball skills from top college coaches.
· College coaches will be teaching the skills of the game to athletes, parents, and coaches.
· This is a skills clinic and coaching clinic all wrapped into one event.
· Athletes will be going through offensive and defensive stations to learn proper techniques from college coaches.
· Parents and coaches will be going through stations to learn how to teach and reinforce techniques and strategies.

So is this for the younger girls cause the web to sign up it starts at 7-8 no lower so what's up

Is this limited to athletes referred by a coach or instructor? The application seemed to require entering a referral.

No it is open to anyone who wants to go. I am not sure why he asks for the referral. It was part of the process in the past but now it is open to anyone. I believe the QD Academy is going to be cancelled due to low numbers. 6th and 7th graders are able to enroll to go to Queen of Diamonds North on Saturday night at KSU for $199. There will be DII, DIII, NAIA, and JUCO coaches will be instructors at that.
