Questions for ASA experts

A friend of mine has a player that wants to leave the team. ?He obtained a player release form from NSA but the commissioner from ASA just sent a new blank roster form. ?Does the ASA have a player release form like NSA? ?Does the new ASA roster (minus the leaving player) trump the old roster?

I am not an ASA expert so I though I would pose this question to the members.

I would like to know that also. If the player is already on another team His roster should be invalid. Especially if they use it for another tournament.

I am no expert but this is what I know:
There is NO release form for ASA
And yes, it does overide the old roster.

With the movement of ASA of making more of their tournaments qualifiers for their Regional National tournaments there might be some changes, so hopefully someone with more information will reply. It used to be that unless/until a team played in a National Qualifier or a Regional Qualifier submitted rosters were for the use of each tournament. Once a player was on a roster for a team that qualified and registered to play at the USA/ASA championships then I am not sure that player can be released.
