The Kilgore College Rangers got two must-needed conference wins April 11 in Athens, defeating the Trinity Valley Community College Cardinals 6-5 and 4-3. With the wins, KC improves to 16-18 overall and 9-9 in Region XIV play.

The Trinity Valley Community College Cardinals almost erased a five-run deficit, but the Kilgore College Rangers hung on for a 6-5 victory.
KC built a five-run lead in the third inning and TVCC managed five runs in the failed comeback.
